“You” Renewed For Season 3 On Netflix

The infuriating yet addictive “YOU” is renewed for season 3

The much-loved Netflix Original ‘You’ will be coming back with season 3. Starring the Gossip Girl actor Penn Badgley, ‘You’ garnered an astonishing viewership of 40 million and continues to be viewed by hundreds of thousands of new members on the streaming service.

‘You’ centers on the deceitfully charming Joe Goldberg, who dreams of cultivating a perfect relationship and seems willing to do anything for the Love of his life. But under that charm lies an obsessive sociopath with an even darker past. He brings horror and misery wherever he goes, and even the most innocent people around him are not safe.

What will happen in the third season?

The second season of the show witnesses Joe wooing the beautiful Love Quinn who we all expect to be yet another victim of his madness. In a surprising and horrifying twist, Love turns out to be no different than him and murders Joe’s ex-girlfriend Candace to be with him forever. Startled and shocked, Joe seems to accept her and goes on to live with her. But it’s not long before his inherent stalker nature comes back to surface.

Season 3 is likely to expand on the last scene we see in the second season finale: Joe stalking his neighbor. Seeing the equally psychopathic Love, we suspect things won’t be easy for Joe this time around. But let’s wait for the show to find out.
