Vinland Saga is renewed for season 2. View Latest Status for Season 3

Vinland Saga Season 2 is officially announced and the fans are ecstatic. After a painfully long wait of 1.5 years, the director of the anime TV series Shuhei Yabuta confirmed in a tweet that Vinland Saga Season 2 will be happening. The author of the manga also took to Twitter to make the announcement.

The first installment had the fans raving about the anime and hopefully, Vinland Saga Season 2 won't be any different. While the first season focused on the backstory and offered a flashback of the characters' childhoods, season second is expected to be the real deal. Incredibly enthralling and delightfully gripping. The official release date of Vinland Saga Season 2 hasn't been announced yet but it might be coming out soon since a trailer is already out.

Will Thorfinn be finally getting long-awaited revenge for his father? We'll have to wait a little more to find out.

Young Thorfinn grew up listening to the stories of old sailors that had traveled the ocean and reached the place of legend, Vinland.
