The series is NOT renewed for a new season. It has been cancelled and there will not be a season 2
Series Information:
The first season of The Unsettling released in July 2019 and ended in October 2019 on HBO Nordic. In October, 2019, it was also picked up by Hulu. However, it was not renewed for a season 2, and it is now listed as cancelled.
Neither HBO nor HULU have made any official announcements yet. It has now been 3 years since the first season ended, so the chances for a new season are very low. There has not been discussions about other networks picking up the show for a new season.
But nothing is completely impossible. If the network wanted, it could renew the show for a second season because the first season did leave some unanswered questions that could be explored in a new season. As a result, fans feel like they are now left with a cliffhanger and no resolution to the plot. The lack of official cancellation/renewal from the network is disconcerting at best.
There is also potential for an anthology series but so far no news of sorts has come out.
About the show: ‘The Unsettling’ is a horror series that follows 16-year-old Becca, who arrives at a foster home to live with her new family (The Werners). Strange occurrences soon start happening, and she will learn the disturbing truth about why the family had agreed to foster her.

Why do these companies cancele shows without giving at least a 4 hr wrap up show? It’s so nerve-wracking.
Please finish the show. I’m sick of getting highly involved into a series for it to be f@#$%&g cancelled that’s bullpoop at least finish the story.
I’m currently watching the first season on Netflix though so maybe they have it now?
Why is the second season cancelled? It is a good TV series I just watch the first season and I’m wanting to know what happens next but I can’t find that out unless they make a season 2.
I cant even find the rest of season one! where did it go? Can you find it? I was on ep 4! crazy!
this got 5/10 rating i see why because the microwave was lighting up it was not even on and the ghost had no energy when it was takings souls i see why this is canceled this was a horrible show i do not wanna see more of the unsettling this was a bad show i was real disappointed when i saw this show.
I’m on the last episode I hope it gets picked back up but I’m not optimistic sadly since this was made in 2019 it’s been three years now and the characters will age.. hopefully I’m wrong and that they’ll make a second season soon I don’t like how they come up with cool series ideas then shut them down like oooh I’m going to hook a billion people then pull a rug out from under everyone like nope just going to leave you hanging it’s mean!
