The Unlisted Season 2 is cancelled. Despite being a genre-bending show with an intriguing story, The Unlisted did not have much going on for it. The show premiered on Netflix on September 15, 2019, on ABC for Australia and on October 17th 2021 on Netflix.
Netflix typically renews its successful shows within the first 1-6 months after a new reason's release. However, since it has now been over 2 years since the release of the Unlisted, it is safe to say that the show is cancelled despite the lack of official news from Netflix.
The show did many things right including a unique story, suspense, an eerie theme song, and promising characters. But the actors chosen to play them were not really able to do the story justice. The critics and viewers attributed bad acting to the show’s plummeting ratings. The episodes were a bit too flat and the actors emotionless. It’s no surprise that The Unlisted Season 2 got cancelled.
The Unlisted follows twelve-year-old identical twins who discover that a corporation along with the government is secretly tracking and manipulating Australia's youth. It is being done via electronic tracking devices that are installed in the name of the Global Child Initiative Programme. When the duo discovers that the program is all a sham, they pair up with a group of underground vigilantes, who call themselves 'The Unlisted', to stop the powerful and evil corporation from gaining control over the world's youth. They must stop the wicked authorities from creating an army of young soldiers who can be manipulated to serve the wealthiest of society.

The unlisted is great. A show everyone in the family can watch and not the typical Disney bring a family back from the 90s. The actors are great, maybe just not something Americans are ready for…?
So sad there isn’t a second season. The Unlisted is brilliant.
The actors did an amasing job. Haven’t heard one bad thing about them from anybody that I know has watched. Still have big hopes for it. They haven’t even publicly cancelled it. Its either on break or they have no solid date.
Please renew this show for season 2 with all the same actors. Something crawled into the twins ears. We need to know what happened; it is so good.
“…. the lack of official news from Netflix.” This statement let’s me know that there is hope for The Unlisted to come back. I really hope they do too. Netflix has not mentioned it which mean it is a possibility. 🙌🏾 Keep the hope alive!
