Status for season 29
The series is NOT cancelled. However, it has not yet been renewed or cancelled for season 29
Series Information:
Season 27 released in March 2021, with season 28 also officially confirmed. Season 28 is currently scheduled for 2022. The show was indeed renewed all the way through 2022 on a three-year deal with the Food Network that was signed back in 2019.
Fake rumors spread on facebook that Drummond was quitting her cooking show. However, Ree Drummond confirmed that the news were not true. As a matter of fact, she is actually expanding her TV role with the Food Network: she will take on her first acting role in a new holiday movie for the Food Network, called "Candy Coated Christmas". In the movie, she will play the owner of a bakery who becomes friend with a young woman who returns to her mother’s home town of Peppermint Hollow.
The Pioneer Woman is a cooking show that stars Ree Drummond on Food Network. The series initially launched in 2011, and from a food blogger, Ree became a famous rancher cook. With her family, she lives on a ranch in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, and with each episode, she invites viewers into her kitchen, sharing her style of home cooking.
NOTE: a technical glitch appeared to have listed the show as "canceled" on www.thepioneerwoman.com when the show information was mixed with a list of other canceled TV shows (not including The Pioneer Woman). The show is not canceled as it was renewed for 3 more years in 2019, all the way to 2022, and no official cancellation news has been sent by the Food Network.

Hi I watch pioneer woman every Sunday. I like the inserts of what is happening on the ranch. Recently I watched the May 22 show. However watching the show with you wearing a flowing sleeve blouse around a cooking service is not a good idea. As a retired fire code official we always instructed children and adults not to wear garments with a flowing sleeve as it the sleeve can easily catch fire. Always be careful. Thank you

What a shame. 😭 i need a tylenol when the show happens to be on the food channel which i usually have on. I quickly switch to the news, or anything else. I cant imagine how real chefs feel being associated with the food network when this show is part of the line up. Im sure she is a nice enough person…but she is no chef! Maybe a different channel would suit . Sorry-
Irritated.

I’ve been watching for years. I understand Covid has changed how shows are filmed but the tone of the show is unprofessional with all the joking around and sloppiness.
Sorry Ree.

I saw the episode of the moving in of a ranch foreman’s house, in one piece, a very nice-looking home. Internet searching hasn’t revealed what person or company built the home. Would love to know who built it, as we may be in the market for one.

I’m glad Ree has gotten healthier with her weight lose, but , I don’t have a weight problem and do not want to watch you cooking vegtables every week.
I know 1,001 ways to make a salad, so help me to cook a guilty pleasure like a chicken fried steak, biscuit, cobbler,…..
