On news that BET is expanding its viewerships to 3 million viewers, boosted by Tyer Perry's series, BET has decided to renew The Oval for season 3. Production of season 3 will start at Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta later in 2021.

Tyler Perry’s The Oval season 2 premiered with 22 new episodes on February 16th 2021 on BET.

"The Oval" tells the story of a family placed in the White House by people of power while also highlighting the personal side and everyday lives of the staff who run the inner workings of the nation's most iconic residence. "The Oval" stars Ed Quinn, Kron Moore, Javon Johnson, Ptosha Storey, Vaughn Hebron, Teesha Renee, Paige Hurd, Daniel Croix Henderson, Lodric Collins, Ciera Payton, Walter Fauntleroy, Taja V. Simpson, Brad Benedict, Travis Cure and Matthew Law.
