Paatal Lok Season 2 hasn’t yet been officially announced by Amazon but the first season’s success suggests that there might be a possibility.

The thriller web series premiered on May 15, 2020, with 9 gripping episodes. It has now been well over a year with complete silence from Amazon about the renewal. However, we can take solace in the fact that other crime web series like Mirzapur also didn’t get a second until two years later. Since Paatal Lok premiered in 2020, this year might be when Paatal Lok Season 2 finally comes out.

The first season of Paatal Lok was conclusive but also impactful enough to lead to a second season. Another good news is that it also attracted positive reviews so we have our fingers crossed and hopes high for Paatal Lok Season 2.

About the show:

Paatal Lok revolves around Hathiram Chowdhary, a cynical cop who gets assigned to investigate a high-profile case. As he gets caught in the investigation, he gets dragged into the darker realms of the underworld. Paatal Lok is inspired by traditional concepts of Svarga, Dharti, and Paatal (heaven, earth, and the hell), as metaphors for the different classes of India and the four estates, with the Paatal (hell) being served as the prime phase of the storyline, which takes places in East Delhi.
