The series is NOT renewed for a new season. It has been cancelled and there will not be a season 2
Series Information:
The Overflow anime is the TV adaptation of Kaiduka's manga called " Overflow: Iretara Ofureru Kyōdai no Kimochi". The new anime series premiered in November 2019 with a new version releasing on Tokyo MX in January 2020. Overflow is a new addition to the ComicFesta Anime Zone, with a total of eight episodes in the first season.
Overflow managed to gather a strong following: the first season was rated by over 22,000 users on MyAnimeList.net (average score 6.7). The series also received average 4.54/5.00 star rating from BetaSeries.com. Fans were pleased with animation quality and simple storyline.
However, the status currently of Overflow season 2 is cancelled. The 8 episodes in the first seasons ran from Jan 6, 2020 to Feb 24, 2020 on Tokyo MX. However, good news were announced in September 2021 which gives hopes that the series might be picked up again at some point in the future for a season 2. It was announced that "Overflow" season 1 will be broadcasted one more time on TOKYO MX. Further momentum could possibly result in a reversal of the decision to cancel overflow.
Rei Ishikura (Hōkiboshi studio) has directed the anime, with script writer Eeyo Kurosaki. Yoshihiro Watanabe designed the characters. The cast includes Tomoe Tamiyasu as Ayane Shirakawa, Mitsu Anzu as Kotone Shirakawa, and Sadai Tsukuda as Kazushi Sudō.
Overflow is a romantic comedy series that features the story of a student, Kazushi Sudou (voiced by Naohiro Sada). Kazuchi receives the visit of two childhood friends: sisters Ayane Shirakawa and Kotone Shirakawa. Ayane finds out that Kazushi used her special lotion in the bath and decides to take revenge. She joins Kazushi and Kotone in his bath.
How many seasons of overflow are there? There has only been 1 season, which premiered on January 6th 2020.
Director is Rei Ishigura. Chief Animation Directors are Hisashi Nakamoto, Kakuto Gai and Kazuya Kuroda.
Primary Network: Tokyo MX.

Will not stand for this. Totally outrageous and inconsiderate. This show was a masterpiece in the making. If there is no season 2 the world will not be the same. This show had a great plot with simple characters. It didn’t try to be anything more then it was, a hanime.

If they need money or anything for a second season I know for a fact I’ll Help out and so many others would as well, we just want this season 2 damnit. Why did it even get canceled it’s not like it was a bad show or anything 😅😂 I guess it depends on what you call bad but this definitely wasn’t a bad show. I really wish we had more shows like this tbh Highs hop dxd doesn’t count because it’s not as intimate as this sadly!! And same for testament for new devil sister. They literally do everything but fuck in that show and it’s soo depressing to me 😂 I know he wants to do it to Mia too but he doesn’t all he does is grope her boobs and make out with her while he does it but sadly no sex with any of the 3 girls 😂😂
Any word on a season 2 yet?!!? I still have hope that they will reverse their decision and end up releasing season 2 for all of the 22,000 fans that are awaiting for its return!!? And will be happy to help out in any way we can to get this release of season 2!?
Almost August… No word. I had no life in the first place but I have even less now. We need a god damn season two.

I really want season 2 because this is amazing as anything in hanime and the story is really good, not only there should be season 2 but there should be more seasons of over flow i and my friend would be really happy to see it along with 22,000 fans me and my friend are also fans of over flow hopefully waiting for next season.
