Octonauts is renewed for season 6. View Latest Status for Season 6

Octonauts Season 6 is renewed and the show’s production company Silvergate Media has already started working on the new season. The news comes as no surprise since the show has had consistently high ratings and popularity among the viewers ever since its premiere back in October 2010.

Although Octonauts Season 6 is announced, the Octonauts Season 5 has still not been released outside of China. It was meant to be aired in April 2018 but got delayed and premiered in China in December 2020 on CCTV14. The new episodes are available online to watch but only in Chinese with no subtitles.

But don’t get too sad because the English version of Octonauts Season 5 will soon be released globally in 2022. The good news is that while you are enjoying the exciting new adventures of the new episodes, Octonauts Season 6 will already be lining up.

Octonauts is a children’s pre-school animated show that follows an underwater exploring crew made up of stylized anthropomorphic animals, a team of eight adventurers who live in an undersea base, the Octopod, from which they go on undersea adventures with the help of a fleet of aquatic vehicles. Although its technology is fictional, the exotic creatures and locations that the crew encounter are based on real marine animals in their natural habitats.
