Series Information:
The award-winning TV series "Life Below Zero: Port Protection" started airing season 4 in January 2021. We are still awaiting a status update from National Geographic for a new season, which would likely start late 2021 or early 2022.
The Port Protection spin-off started in February 2020 (with 10 episodes), following the same model with people who have left traditional society to chose a different life in Alaska. Port Protection is technically a continuation of "Port Protection Alaska", which started airing in 2015 (two seasons in 2015, and 2016, with new seasons in 2020 and 2021).
According to IMDB, the producers of "Life Below Zero" are also producing "Port Protection". The difference with "Life Below Zero: Port Protection" series is the show’s “quirky characters” and story lines about what they are trying to accomplish.
Port Protection is a real location in Alaska. According to the Wikipedia page, its population was only 48 at the 2010 census (down from 63 in year 2000).

Difficult to wait for upcoming episodes, though we here at our home, prefer the seasonal versions sold as DVD’s, as we can watch them anytime we want them and as often as we like. Waiting for Season 4 to be available for purchase. I trust that Season 5 will be made & also offered for sale. G.B. Sutton
