Venturing out on a historical adventure in a race to find a secret recipe may not be easy. Still, for step-siblings Zoe and Leo and their neighbor Ish, it’s a piece of cake (and literally) since they have a magic cookbook to follow in Bay City. This TV show features a magic cookbook and its new protectors as they unlock a centuries-old mystery with their cooking skills.

I honestly don’t think there will be another season, as at the end of season one the new protectors shared the magic and the recipes in the book flew into the night. There wouldn’t be a mystery to solve since zoe’s dad Ian came from the past and lived out the rest of his days with her mom until his death. I could be wrong tho, but I highly doubt it.
They kinda missed the boat with mystery city. The original was about friendships. There was no chemistry building in season one. The friendships fell apart. And when they brought back the original cast which was so great, all the new protectors could say was, why are you here, we can do this ourselves..
