The series is NOT renewed for a new season. It has been cancelled and there will not be a season 2
Series Information:
The first season of Here We Go Again ended five years ago in March 2016. Most TV shows are renewed within 1-2 years of the original broadcast date, and Here We Go Again has now been released over 5 years ago. As a result, we have marked the TV show with a status of “Cancelled”.
It is very unlikely at this point that the show gets picked up for season 2. As many reviewers believed that the series featured generic characters and a predictable premiere, it’s difficult to say if the season will be renewed. It should be mentioned that many people still write positive reviews and look forward to watching this funny show again. Hopefully, TV One will decide to revive Here We Go Again for Season 2. We will keep you up to date on this.
The show is a family comedy that follows Maddy, Shante, and Loretta, three generations of women in the Walker family who gave birth to their daughters at 16, which leads Maddy to believe that there is a curse on the family women. Their lives suddenly change when they are in for a surprise, leading them on a new journey.
Maddy thinks that there is a "Walker Woman's Curse" after being born to her mother at 16, and having a child herself at the same age of 16 years old.

I believe that you should renew this show and bring back a season 2. I love this show and I don’t know why there is not a season 2. This show brings you to think about your own life and mistakes that can happen. Please bring this show back.

I just discovered this series and I loved it. This should be renewed. I’m sure when season 1 came out it was never advertised because it would have gotten more ratings. Let’s try this again and advertise it. I’m looking out for it. I just loved it.
I was so shocked that I never heard of this show. I was upset to find out that there is no session 2. I really enjoyed it.
This show should have never been cancelled. It deals with real life situations with teens. The charactes are so hilarious. They cast are super talented and makes the show realistic.
Season 2 please! I hate that it left off with just the 8 episodes for season 1 and never got to see the continued part of the last episode.

I love the characters and when I saw it was TV 14, I thought it was ok to watch with my 12 & 14 yr old girls. Not a good idea. It should be rated M. Too much sex talk and my 14 yr questioned the cheating part…why would Cedric go back to a woman that cheated and got pregnant by someone else or what does being exclusive even mean? Funny show though.
Well I thought Maddy said they weren’t exclusive and when she asked him had he been without sex during her time of celibacy, he insinuated that he too has been doing his own thing with his response. I do agree though that sometimes the ratings seem differently rated from when I was growing up. It seems now it’s more leniency with ratings.
Yes, I agree.I purchased this app just watch the show and we are being left with a huge cliffhanger. It’s a great show. It should return. Don’t worry I’ll wait.

This show was well written with a cast of great actors.
The writers did a great job making this actually funny.
I binged watched in one day hoping that there would be multiple seasons only to be so disappointed to find out its only one season. Say what, this actually a good sitcom. So who gets to decide, THEY need to reconsider; because there are many shows on prime tv that is NOT funny and they get keep bringing them back. PLEASE someone in the business that can, bring it back and keep it going.

I found this by accident on Prime Video! I was immediately caught up! The characters were well done. I’m sitting here waiting for the next episode and nothing. Who is pregnant??? Why was this show never advertised? I suppprt black tV as much as possible! I bet if you actually advertised a second season you would have overwhelming response to the return.

Just found out about this show on Cleo TV, how can we petition for season 2. This show is soo good and the acting is generic not forced, the actors all flow well with each other. Why do we have garbage on TV and a show like this comes along and gets cancelled.
I just found out about this show while perusing the Allblk app for something to watch. It’s really unfortunate that it was canceled after its first season because it’s just as good as any other sitcom out there. My guess is it did not have a large viewing audience because its network probably did not do enough promoting to make people people aware that the show was in existence. It’s a shame really because there needs to be more quality programming on television showcasing the black family.
Please bring Here we go again back for a 2nd Season please i really love that show its real life things like this everyday, please it help motivate me to do what was right and to not make the same mistake she did. Its a real eye opener and i would like to see her new baby and how things turn out for him i would like to know if her daughter make the same mistake as well or would she wait it out and have a baby later in life i really feel it ended stupid that should not be the finale im salty

Bring back “Here we go again”. We all need more shows like this (especially during these difficult times) that features black families that rise above the circumstances that they have been dealt. Season 1 was very funny and entertaining.

Its 2022 and i stumbled upon here we go again and i love it! The story line is funny, i am actually binge watching, so disappointed the show has been canceled not fair to the fans
Love this show, I ran across it Monday on Roku, please bring back Season 2, what a terrible ending wanting us to know more. I purchased ALLBK, thinking there was a Season 2, only to find out there is not one, now I’m canceling it.
