Good Witch season 7 premieres Sunday, May 16th 2021 (at 9:00 pm ET/PT) on the Hallmark Channel.
Since viewers first met Cassie Nightingale (Catherine Bell, "Army Wives," "JAG") in the Hallmark Channel Orginal Movie Premiere "The Good Witch" in 2008, they've been captivated by the enchantress as well as the colorful cast of characters that inhabit the bucolic burb of Middleton. Season six of "Good Witch," the network's highly rated original primetime series, premieres Sunday, May 3, (9 p.m. ET/PT), on Hallmark Channel. Bell, James Denton ("Devious Maids," "Desperate Housewives"), Sarah Power ("Killjoys), Catherine Disher ("Abby Hatcher"), Kylee Evans ("The Strain"), Katherine Barrell ("Wynonna Earp"), Marc Bendavid ("Murdoch Mysteries") and Scott Cavalheiro ("The Wedding Planners") star.
New York, NY, August 23, 2019 -Hallmark Channel's "Good Witch" wrapped up on Sunday with stellar ratings, claiming the #2 spot among scripted series on ad-supported cable. The original series, now concluding its fifth season, propelled the network to rank #1 in Household rating on Sundays, further lifting Hallmark Channel to be the highest-rated and most-watched cable network on the weekends. Overall, the ten episodes averaged a 2.8 Household rating, 2.8 million Total Viewers, and 419,000 Women 25-54, becoming the highest-rated and most-watched season of "Good Witch" in series history.
"When the first 'Good Witch' original movie premiered on Hallmark Channel in 2008, we couldn't have foreseen that those characters would instantly become a beloved fixture in the imaginations of our viewers, let alone that we would go on to produce ten more movies and develop what has become one of the most successful primetime series on cable," said Michelle Vicary, EVP, Programming and Network Publicity, Crown Media Family Networks. The finale episode delivered a 3.0 Household rating, 3 million Total Viewers, 414,000 Women 25-54 and was the highest-rated and most-watched program of the day and second highest-rated program of the week, excluding news.
Cassie Nightingale (Catherine Bell), Middleton’s favorite enchantress, and her young-teenage daughter Grace (Bailee Madison), who shares that same special intuition as her mom, welcome Dr. Sam Radford (James Denton) and his son to town. When the New York transplants move in next to the Grey House, they are immediately spellbound by the mother-daughter duo next door, but Sam and Cassie quickly find they may not see eye to eye. With her signature charm, Cassie attempts to bring everyone together, ensuring all of Middleton is in for new changes, big surprises and, of course, a little bit of magic!
"Good Witch" returns for more magical adventures in Middleton when season five premieres with a special, two-night event Sunday, June 9 (8 p.m. ET/PT) and Monday, June 10 (8 p.m. ET/PT) on Hallmark Channel. Based on the "The Good Witch" movie franchise, which is the most successful franchise in the network's history, the series stars Catherine Bell ("Army Wives," "JAG"), Bailee Madison (Just Go with It, "Trophy Wife") and James Denton ("Desperate Housewives," "Devious Maids"). Since the first movie premiered 11 years ago, Cassie Nightingale has become a character that Hallmark Channel viewers have fallen in love with and look forward to welcoming into their homes.
In season five, love is in the air with Cassie (Bell) and Sam's (Denton) much-anticipated wedding, bringing their two families together under one roof to face new challenges as a blended family. Grace (Madison) and Nick (Rhys Matthew Bond) are in their senior year of high school, which isn't without some bumps in the road as they deal with the uncertainty of life after graduation.
