The Curse of Oak Island Season 9 premiered on November 2nd, 2021 with 13 episodes released since. If this season is anything like the previous seasons, it will have over 20 episodes. If so, season 9 will probably end in May 2022.
While it's too early to assume anything, we're hopeful about The Curse of Oak Island Season 10. The reason is the wild popularity of the show. Despite the Lagina brothers not quite uncovering what they set out to do on Oak Island, people still stay glued to their screen for every new episode. Even if they don't get the satisfaction of getting that big mystery resolved, they still get to learn a lot of new stuff and the history of the place.
Another testament to its popularity is two spin-offs of the shows. The first one "Curse of Civil War Gold" spanned two seasons and finished in July 2019. The second spin-off show "Beyond Oak Island" premiered in November 2020. Its second season started in January 2022 and is still being aired. Hopefully, this one will stay with us longer in comparison to the first spin-off. Since it focuses on multiple treasure quests around the globe, there is a lot of ground to cover.
The Curse of Oak Island Season 10 is not officially announced but considering the success of the show, it's definitely a possibility.
About the show:
Rick and Marty Lagina work to fulfill a life-long dream as they embark on the most exciting chapter ever of the now 220-year-old Oak Island mystery. After making major discoveries in borehole 10-X and the infamous Money Pit last year, the brothers and their partners will use today’s most advanced technology, as well as heavy digging and drilling equipment to go deep inside the island. They welcome new researchers and special guests, forge new alliances, and explore new, intriguing theories. Nothing will stop them from finding out what could be buried on Oak Island, who concealed it there, and where “X” marks the spot.
In the Money Pit area, itself, they will conduct deep ground penetrating radar to look for the flood tunnel and using cutting edge survey tech and heavy digging machines, they will excavate early 19th century searcher shafts to help triangulate their way back to the location of the original Money Pit. This will lead to the biggest and most extensive digs that Rick, Marty, Craig Tester and the team have ever conducted in an effort to once and for all locate the fabled “Chappell Vault.”
After 224 years, the Oak Island mystery, now has the greatest chance ever to finally being solved.

I love this show…please do not cancel. The knowledge learned is priceless since history as we knew it in the ’60’s isn’t really taught in schools anymore.
I love this show. My entire family has not missed one episode. Marty and Rick Lavinia have worked so hard throughout every season as well as everyone on the team. What a wonderful family show. It is also very educational for everyone at any age. Have my fingers crossed.
I’ve been watching this show from the beginning. Don’t cancel it or you will really create an empty place in my TV watch time. I’m not the only one of my family that watches it. I do believe they will find a treasure. I hope that they will be able to keep it all when they do find it. And I hope the government won’t take any of it.
I do hope there will be a season 9. I have been watching the series since it began.
One of the most, If not the most interesting adventure/historical shows to come along in decades. A real life event, keeps viewers magnetized to their screens, it would be the highest folly for the History channel not to keep running the series.

Oak Island is my favorite TV show, I found out about Oak Island even before the LaGina brothers. The show is wonderful, educational, and mysterious. The possible explanations keep dwindling!
