This is because a lot of us with AT&T/DirecTV were not allowed to see the new shows coming on the channel this show is on. I looked forward to it, but being that they are in dispute with the network, this channel lineup was removed from the majority of the viewers. Therefore, this show was dead on arrival.

NBC continues to not give any of the 3-4 recently(Over the last 3 years)shows on the Monday 10:00 PM time slot a decent chance to catch on. I really do not understand their thinking. Monday night football will take many viewers away but maybe the show will pick up after football ends. NBC and the 10:00 PM DEAD Monday night slot. Beware any future programs…you are doomed!

Very good show with an excellent cast. A lot better than some of the sappy sitcoms the networks force on us.

I really like the show, it is a lot better than all the reality BS that is always on. Bad decisions like this is what makes us turn to cable channels instead.

Bluff City Law is an excellent show, why would you cancel it. You crappy shows like Ellens games of games, and the Voice, another example of show you keep in the air that are not funny any more is Saturday Night Live , back when Ackyrod, Belushi, Murray were in on there it was funny. I’m not saying that those shows need to go off the air for the most part but Bluff City law is such an excellent show, and Jimmy Smith is an excellent actor. Just look at the Shows you use to have him in. They were excellent. Please keep Bluff City Law in the air.

Why cancel a quality show with compelling scripts and a great cast? Does it stand a chance for a second season on a more insightful and appreciative network?

Come on people! Compelling, thoughtful, sensitive, moving humanity forward television does not stand a chance against the likes of the Bachelor and that ilk. It is because 14 year old prepubescents are in charge and ad sales rule. This is why my brief stint with broadcast TV is over and Netflix will cheer my triumphant return.

I agree with every ones comments. My husband and I LOVED this show. Who are the people that decide the outcome of the shows? They are not listening to the viewers who watch the show.
