Status for season 10
The show is NOT cancelled, but there is no official status yet on season 10
Black Ink Crew Season 9 premiered on 19th April 2021, a year after the last season. VH1 has not yet announced Black Ink Crew Season 10 but we can hope the gang will get back together at the same time next year for the 2022-2023 TV season.
Black Ink Crew Season 9 started with Ceaser opening up the Brooklyn shop. Together with the crew, he holds an event to give health workers free tattoos. During the pandemic, the employees had been trying their luck at different jobs and pursuing their passions other than tattooing. Now back, Tatti and Alex express their wishes to have new positions. To his shock, Ceaser finds out that the theft at the 125th store might be an inside job. Off to an exciting start, Black Ink Crew Season 9 seems to have a ton in store for the fans.
In an interview with Nicki Swift, Ceaser said, “It's a whole different 'Black Ink.' Before, we never really touched on current events, on stuff that's happening right now. But this time around that's all we're doing is covering what's happening right now. And what's basically a problem with everybody." In fact, as the VH1 star explained, viewers will be able to relate to almost all of the trials and tribulations faced by the cast in brand new episodes. "We touch almost every subject that you could possibly think of that everybody's going through. So everybody could really connect with this season of 'Black Ink Crew’.”
Only 2 episodes of Black Ink Crew Season 9 have been aired as of 30th April 2021. The reality TV show had been successful enough so far to get 9 seasons. Considering its record, it’s very likely that Black Ink Crew Season 10 will also be announced soon.
"Black Ink Crew" follows the daily goings-on and associated drama at a Harlem, N.Y., tattoo empire, where a tight yet dysfunctional staff of artists serve a growing celebrity clientele. The shop is a magnet for hip-hop stars as well as pro athletes, video vixens and a who's who of the urban elite. Ceaser, owner and creator of the Black Ink brand, has made the business into a New York hotspot for fresh ink. Embarking on new journeys and business endeavors, Ceaser employs some close, very vocal friends who make up the "crew," including quick-witted, fiery manager Sky and Cleveland-born tattooist Donna.
