SEAL Team Renewed for Season 4, with release date on December 2nd, 9:00-11:00pm
No brainer: CBS has renewed SEAL Team for Season 4. Our ever-reliable insiders have exclusively leaked the early Season 4 renewal of SEAL Team at CBS. The network has quietly renewed the military drama for season 4 following “rock solid” ratings and “strong” response to the series’ third outing.
SEAL Team Season 4 was initially set to premiere on September 21st, and then November 25th in 2020, but CBS announced on 11/6/2020 that the new season’s premiere was delayed to December 2nd, with a 2-hour premiere (9-11:00pm ET).
Seal Team Season 4 has been delayed by over two months (initially scheduled Sept 21st 2020)
CBS announced that Seal Team season 4 will start in Fall 2020 in the Wednesday 9-10pm time slot (moving up one hour from the previous CBS announcement which slotted the show in the 10-11pm time slot). See CBS official announcement for the revised Fall lineup. Seal Team will be shown just before S.W.A.T. at 10:00pm. SEAL Team season 4 is impacted by the COVID pandemic and delayed due to November 2020.
Season 4 story line
TVline reported in November that Season 4 may feature a shake-up that will address several career cliffhangers facing Jason, Ray, Mandy and others.
The upcoming season will pick up right where the previous season left off. Showrunner Spencer Hudnut shared with TV line that season 4 will not be very much impacted by a pandemic storyline: “We talked about it, and because we have to finish what we started, to all of the sudden be in a pandemic world felt wrong (…) We also want to give people an escape.”

Seal team is well written and acted. The downside are the” cheap out” episodes that are played in the dark and low cost sets. When the budget is right and the action scenes are real, the show is great. Don’t let the never served our country snowflakes dictate budget. It insults the heroes that you are trying to portray and can be a dis-service to our country.

Seal Team is the best military show on TV today. The stories are real, the actors are amazing and I am counting on CBS being the network that is smart enough to bring them back for season 4.

This is one of the best shows since the TV series the Unit. I don’t know if it’s be cancel because candy butt snowflakes or some computer algorithm saying that he just doesn’t meet criteria of ratings which would be wrong. I can’t tell you how many people watch their show just in my small circle I gotta believe it’s more popular than they think it is. It can’t be too expensive, it’s well written, believable, well acted and the right balance of personal turmoil, geo politics, military politics and mission drama. Hopefully CBS gets treatment for that cranial rectal inversion syndrome may seem to be suffering from. Otherwise known as head up one’s own butt.

Seal team is a great series. My husband and I love it! If we happen to miss a show, we will buy it on Netflix. Please renew it for as long as possible. Don’t disappoint the viewers.
