But things have gotten a little delayed
The auditions were done and the show was set to land in 2021 but life happens. Just like many other shows that suffered at the hands of the pandemic, Rhythm + Flow Season 2 also experienced a delay in production. The virus was raging in 2020 so it’s understandable that the crew couldn’t have gotten together like they had planned. Things are looking good now and we can expect the show to grace our TV screens soon in 2022.
Some other facts about Rhythm + Flow
The hip-hop music competition show first premiered on Netflix in October 2019. With some of the most popular names of the industry attached to it, Rhythm + Flow opened to some stellar reviews. It received a collective nod of approval both from the fans and the critics. Time dubbed it the “The Best Music Competition Show in Years” while The Atlantic declared it “irresistible”. The truth is that success of the show didn’t just stem from the industry stars Cardi B, T.I., and Chance the Rapper judging the contestants but also how it stood apart from the other similar shows.
Rhythm + Flow does not judge contestants on the basis of how they look or act. The show appreciates real talent and authentic hip-hop artistry. The contestants are also not required to sign contracts with any record labels. So, what direction they choose for their careers post-show is entirely up to the contestants.
Just a little more wait and we will be watching this masterpiece again.

On this second season. I think fans would like to see unexpected battles behind the scenes. For example. One rapper from New York is on top of his game and another from Chicago feels he has what it takes to wim it all. Both have a crazy flow. And they make a pact. A 5 min each street battle and who ever wins will pack and go back to their lab. And start getting ready for their next shot at a rap carreer.
Also some drama thrown in the mix. A couple both in the same journey to make it into the rap industry. Male rapper from Cali is as quick with his pumch lines then he is with his flirtauos ways. A rapper from down south sees how cold he was to steal his girl. So he made a song of him singing on the hook and rapping 16 bars. This song told a tale of him poimting out his cheating ways to his gurl blinded by love. And how if he got a chance to be with her. How he will never put her thru that pain. The song makes light of their abusive realitionship. She leaves him. Mid west rapper takes her by the hand. They have a street battle which turns bloody. Mid west rapper not only wins battle. Wins the bare knuckle fight. And takes his girl. They make a song together. Big hit makes it to the radio. Video follows. Cali rapper comes back shows his tru colors. A drive by causes Mid West rapper to get hit. Cops show up and shots rang out as Cali rapper dies. At the hospital Mid West Rapper cones out the coma. Girl by his side gives him great news they are having a seed….
