MacGyver has another trick up his sleeve.
CBS has expanded the action drama’s fourth season by adding nine additional episodes to its existing 13 episode order.
That takes MacGyver Season 4 up to a full 22-episode season, which will run into summer 2020.
More importantly, the order bodes well for MacGyver Season 5 renewal, despite the show getting shunted to midseason for its fourth season.
Our well-placed insiders say that while a decision on Season 5 hasn’t yet been sealed, the order is a positive sign for the show’s future.

Is George Eads Gone Forever? I stopped watching after the chemistry between him and MacGyver seemed to be gone.
hey bobby, George Eads might end up coming back because some actors go to the movie section and usally they would come back if he doesnt end up in the movie section.

Excellent show even with big buddy guy who left series end of last season, and for what? Haven’t seen him emerge yet though sometimes casting people make players wait a while.
I think the decision makers should be fired for the way they take good shows off and replace them with crap, and the way they make a big deal about next years new shows, play games showing a couple episodes now, then a couple more here and there, and then say the ratings aren’t any good, but nobody knows if the shows on from week to week, and then just end it on a cliff hanger. They suck
