This is my favorite Food Network series! It is refreshing to see a chef of color with her own show. Kudos Food Network! Her recipes are ones we can try; her presence is so inviting; her sense of humor is contagious; her family is so warm; the setting is absolutely beautiful. I love it when we get glimpses of South Carolina and its culinary history. And that porch… perfect ending to each episode.

Miss Brown’s stories and recipes remind me of my southern mother and aunts’ recipes. I have lived in the north for most of my adult life and just love recreating favorite recipes by Miss Brown. Please keep her on the Food Network! Stop all those game shows and let’s cook!
