Celebrity IOU Renewed For Season 2 On HGTV

HGTV has ordered a sophomore season of its smash hit series, Celebrity IOU, which has attracted more 36 million total viewers in its first season. It’s no wonder that Celebrity IOU season 2 is now coming to HGTV.

The network has confirmed that Celebrity IOU season 2 debuts on December 14th, 2020 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

In the second season, new movie stars will express deep gratitude to individuals who had a major impact on their lives – surprising them with big, heartwarming home renovations that bring everyone to tears.

The star-packed, uplifting series features HGTV’s popular real estate and renovation experts Drew and Jonathan Scott, who also serve as executive producers and work closely with each celebrity to deliver a renovation that is customized to meet the needs of a special person. Celebrity IOU is the #2 new unscripted original series in all of cable among P25-54 and W25-54 so far this year.

Celebrity IOU is a new blockbuster HGTV series where Hollywood A-listers express their deep gratitude to the individuals who have had a major impact on their lives by surprising them with big, heartwarming home renovations that bring everyone to tears. The star-studded, uplifting series features the network's immensely popular twin brothers Drew and Jonathan Scott as they help each award-winning celebrity with a special renovation. The season's celebrity lineup includes: actor, producer and two-time Academy Awards(R) winner Brad Pitt; multi Academy Award(R) nominee and Emmy(R) Award winning actress, producer, fashion designer and flea market enthusiast Melissa McCarthy; OSCAR(R), Emmy(R) Award and Tony Awards(R) winner Viola Davis; actress, writer, producer and fashion designer, Rebel Wilson, winner of an MTV Movie Award and a Teen Choice Award; and singer, songwriter and producer Michael Bublé, a four-time GRAMMY Award(R) winner.
