The Bible Continues Season 2’s network/platform has yet to be confirmed, though insiders initially hinted it will be a streaming platform, with producers Mark Burnett and Roma Downey‘s upcoming digital channel a possible destination. About this show:
As a sequel to the 2013 The Bible miniseries, A.D. The Bible Continues reveals the complete message of Christ, following a more in depth look on Jesus's story. It shows how the high priest of Judea did not believe the resurrection after the Crucifixion of Christ. The series continues the story of Christ with the first ten chapters of the Acts of the Apostles.
Even though it was canceled by NBC, its producers plan more seasons on their OTT digital channel, so stay tuned! Producers Burnett and Downey saw it as a perfect tentpole for the launch of the OTT channel they had been working on with MGM, but the partnership has yet to finalize.
